Type Locality and Naming

Along the river Dzharbulak, Kuramin Ridge. O.I. Sergun'kova, 1965 (457, pp. 91-93, 95). Stratotype Along the river Dzharbulak, the mountains of Kalkanata. Previously described under the name calcareous layers (165; 457).

Synonym: Dzharbulakian Suite, Jarbulak, Джарбулакская св.

Dolomites and limestones with layers of marls. Thickness 215m.
